Living Spaces
As you enter you will find the boot room off the entrance passage, providing ample room for shoes, boots & coats. There's also a pulley for drying clothes.
Our well-equipped dining kitchen offers all the comforts of home with an electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and washing machine. There's even a window seat to watch red squirrels and birds in the garden.
The spacious sitting room welcomes you with a wood burning stove and smart TV.
The snug, off the sitting room, offers a sofa, Freeview TV and a writing desk. The sofa can be made into double bed, on request.
And finally you'll find the hallway & winding staircase, with under-stair toilet, leading to the upstairs bedrooms & bathroom.

Separate toilet under the stairs.
Outside
Parking for two cars beside the front entrance, EV charger available (additional cost).
There is an east facing bench outside the Cottage front door –perfect for a morning coffee.
Sunny garden with lawn, west-facing gazebo and patio – an ideal quiet space to read of book, enjoy a glass of wine or your evening meal.
Steps lead into the lovely woodland area where we put up a rope swing for children.
Washing lines (shared with the family).
Our hens live in the paddock – you are welcome to come and meet them.

ACCESSIBILITY

Parking is at the door.

There are 3 steps up to the front door. The ground floor is then all on one level.

There is a winding, carpeted staircase leading to the first-floor bedrooms and a further 6 carpeted steps to the family bathroom.

Please note: the downstairs toilet under the stairs is the old 'gardener's loo'. It has a narrow access and no basin. We provide antibacterial hand gel.

There is a gentle slope to access the garden area.
PETS

We welcome pets but please note we have a one pet policy. There are lovely walks in the Den of Alyth at the bottom of the drive.

We respectfully ask that guests keep dogs off our lawns, on a lead when outside and clean up immediately after them.

We ask that pets are kept out of bedrooms and off the furniture.
The accommodation is very private. However, we are on hand should you need anything as this is a stand-alone wing of our house.
