Offering the option of a super kingsize bed or two very comfortable singles, the Green Room is wonderfully versatile.  With its high ceiling and tall west-facing window, it's light and airy and is bathed in sunshine for much of the afternoon.  There's a charming Arts and Crafts wardrobe with hanging room, drawers and nooks and crannies for your things and a delightful en-suite with traditional pedestal basin, frosted sage furniture and a large shower with oodles of hot water to enjoy.

The Old Billiards' Room

  • Large wood-burning stove and comfortable seating

  • Huge triple aspect windows

  • Tea, coffee and home baking

This room is yours if you are one of our B&B guests.  It's where we serve breakfast, but it's also where you can come and make yourself a cup of tea or coffee when you like or enjoy some home baking in the afternoon.  You can plan your day, using the maps and guides provided; you can relax with a good book in front of the fire; you can watch TV, read the newspaper, play board games or just chat.  It's a light, airy room painted 'French Gray' with high ceilings and the original pine flooring which has been laboriously sanded back and given a beautiful polished finish.  It's also very cozy with the large Nordpeis wood burning stove to sit in front of.  We respectfully ask that guests don't order or bring back carry-outs.
